Navigating Real Life Sticky Situations

This event is for all students who want to meet, learn from and network with three preeminent North Carolina trial lawyers. We are excited to welcome Sandra Hairston, the United States Attorney in the Middle District of N.C.; Charles Raynal, a partner at Parker Poe in Raleigh; and Mark Anderson, a partner at McGuire Woods and in Raleigh, all of whom are experienced trial attorneys and highly accomplished advocates in a variety of legal settings. Practice areas include insider trading, federal civil rights, organized crime DEA Taskforce matters and high stakes lawsuits on behalf of a variety of financial, medical and other institutional clients across the U.S. Come see how, through a series of real-life vignettes, they navigate sticky situations where best practices aren’t always easy to discern.

All are fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), recognized as “the preeminent organization of trial lawyers in North America dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics and the administration of justice.”  Learn, get treated to lunch and enjoy plenty of time for networking with our exceptional panelists.  The event will be held in Room 307.

Be sure and RSVP via Symplicity 48 hours before the event if you want lunch, as the ACTL will be treating students. The program will officially end in time for 1 p.m. classes, but for those who are available and want to take advantage of this great networking opportunity the attorneys will stay after the program to mix, mingle and answer questions.
