Campbell Law School will host a panel discussion, entitled
“Changing the Game,” on Wednesday, March 27, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 105, Professor Suzanna Geiser, J.D., Ph.D., has announced.
The event is co-sponsored by the faculty’s Committee for Community, Diversity and Student Life(CDSL) and two student organizations Lambda Law and the Student Bar Association’s Diversity Affairs Committee.
The panel features two cast members, Mack and Andrea, from
the award-winning 2019 Hulu documentary,
“Changing the Game,” which is about the experiences of and laws impacting trans-athletes. Joining them on the panel to discuss religion and gender identity will be Katie Jenifer, policy director at Equality N.C., and Angel Collie,
the interim director of Duke University’s Student Affairs. Collie, who is also enrolled in Duke’s Doctor of Divinity Program, plans to speak
about being transgender from the perspective of faith.
