Campus Recreation Fit Fest

Campus Rec FitFest is our annual fitness competition that consists of 2 different challenges: a functional fitness competition and a lifting competition. You can choose to participate in both, or just one of these competitions.
Functional Fitness = “Cross-fit” style workouts, or WODs (workouts of the day), in which exercises are performed for time, or for reps in a given time. This competition will test your overall fitness and aerobic capacity. There will be a scaled division, and an Rx division, as well as a Men’s and Women’s category for each.
Lifting = Powerlifting style competition to test your strength! You will get 3 attempts to get your best Squat, Bench, & Deadlift. The competition will be run similarly to a powerlifting meet, and will be judged similarly as well. There will be a Men’s division and a Women’s division. To account for different body weights, we will use the lifter’s Wilkes score to determine the winner.
