The Campbell Law Innovation Institute (CLII) will host a 90-minute Continuing Legal Education (CLE) event from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, at Campbell Law School for attorneys seeking technology CLE credit.

Attendees of the CLE entitled, “Responding to Innovations in the Law: Legal Technology Solutions for a Modern Legal Practice,” will learn about advancements in computational law, how the law is being reduced into formal languages to build new applications and automated processes and practical applications of technology solutions to modernize the practice of law, explained Professor Kevin Lee, director of the CLII.

“This CLE is intended for North Carolina attorneys seeking technology CLE credits with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of legal technology and legal information standards,” he said. “This course will also teach attendees about the importance of interoperability within legal technology systems and review the critical role change management plays in technology adoption and implementation.”

The free CLE, which includes a boxed lunch, is pending approval of 1.5 credit hours from the North Carolina State Bar. Sign up at this link.
